Anatomy of the Central Nervous System
-
Код:ME00151
This book aims to introduce medical and dental students to the morphology of the human central nervous system
Preface
This book provides basic and essential, and yet quite detailed and contemporary data on the subject. The functional role of the anatomical structures is clarified in order to avoid mechanical learning and to ensure a logical and comprehensive study of the facts. This sets a solid foundation for further studies of neurology and neuroscience. We recommend the book to be used with atlases of human anatomy, which provide high quality images of the Central Nervous System. Many of the images we chose to include, offer schematic or alternative visual information, intended to further clarify statements in the text.
A “Study Guide for the Central Nervous System”, M. Vankova, is also available to the students. It strictly follows the book and is intended to help them prepare for the practical classes, putting an emphasis on key facts and logical deductions.
Dr. Maria Vankova, MD, PhD
